Get Connected provides a free, confidential helpline that gives young people in difficult situations the support and information they need to decide what they want to happen next. From a listening ear to somewhere safe to stay for the night.
The solution incorporates core Webbler and plugin functionality as well as a graphical Flash application - 'Scribble Pad'.The Webbler solution allows complete control over all content (including navigation systems), sitewide structural management and incorporates user harvesting and login control. We assumed the project with the majority of the design already completed though we have embellished it with a number of in-built Webbler usability tools (font-size control, printer-friendly versioning and email-to-a-friend).
The site incorporates the 'Scribble Pad' a graphical Flash app that allows users to create their own character and submit it to Get Connected. Get Connected can then manage or moderate the submission through the Webbler and into a Scribble Pad Gallery. Get Connected now have a site that is more manageable and easier to maintain, has a greater chance of good SEO and a solid base from which to grow and develop.
