We developed this War Horse in London microsite for the National Theatre.
The site replaces the existing War Horse site as the primary marketing vehicle for War Horse. The project has been delivered using WordPress - a simple easy-to-use solution, with good online resources.
War Horse is one of the NT's most successful productions ever and the new site is part of a major marketing effort by the NT to support the global production. The site has been given a new look, redesigned to include more video and interactive features (such as social network and GoogleMap integration) and brings users the latest news about the production and behind-the-scene updates from London and beyond.
Despite a tight schedule and quick turnaround, the site delivers complexity and functionality we'd expect from other larger web projects and included a project process covering design and prototyping through to sysadmin, content management and project build. We also had to ensure (as far as possible) that the new site maintained and built on its existing SEO ranking and we saw positive results in the first week alone.
