Your Background

This is your dream job if you’re passionate about producing high quality online digital projects and you want to build on a proven track record of success and over-delivery. It will be fast, intense, involved and challenging. Together we'll also make it fun and dynamic.

  • you may have worked client-side as a website or digital manager or officer
  • you will be familiar with a user-led process for delivering digital projects - from user research to personas, through to UX-based design
  • you will have overseen and successfully managed a number of digital projects (e.g. the redevelopment of an arts cultural website; the integration of two or more online services or platforms)
  • you will have good technical knowledge
  • you will be familiar with the tools of the trade - one or more CMS' for publishing website content, one or more ECM's for email marketing as well as other digital marketing tools for SEO, analytics and PPC
  • you will enjoy meeting people
  • you will be up for it

Responsibilities – Summary

We are looking for someone who is technically minded, a self-starter and able to keep on top of a variety of tasks, who can move smoothly between projects and challenges.

You will:

  • scope and manage projects, across a range of clients primarily focussing on web builds
  • put the user first when conceptualising and delivering digital solutions
  • gather detailed technical project requirements, conceptualise technical solutions and be able to communicate these to developers
  • test digital deliverables against client requirements
  • set realistic schedules and timelines, allocating resources (both internal and external) accordingly
  • deliver an excellent level of client service and consistently manage client expectations
  • identify and manage project risks
  • be delivery focused

Salary

In return for being the right candidate, we'll offer:

  • salary, annual leave and kit: a salary between £29k and £36k (dependent on experience), 20 days annual leave (plus the 8 statutory days) and necessary kit (laptop, mobile etc)
  • professional development: conferences, workshops, seminars, courses and webinars are all there for the taking
  • flexibility: we're a dual located agency: we primarily work out of Peckham, south London with some team members co-locating in other reas of the UK (Hackney, Hampshire, Cornwall and Wales). - so whilst we have a preference for London, candidates from all UK regions will be considered

Tincan

We're a full-time team of ten plus an informal network of associates with specialist skills, we work exclusively with arts, heritage and NfP clients and we're an agency obsessed with user experience and user led digital design and delivery. We also focus on open source technology (and specifically Drupal as our development and publishing platform of choice). So you'll be part of a great team working alongside developers, designers, project managers, delivering great projects to clients who make a real difference to the world and you'll be part of the open source revolution.
