  • Brian Healy

    Director of Business Development

Brian's been leading Tincan since 2001. In addition to heading up business development, winning new work and nurturing effective client relationships, Brian also contributes to the early stages of projects. In his time Brian has worked across a range of digital disciplines - from the early days of coding for the web, through to design and project management. Nowadays it's about creating and nurturing the right team to deliver our projects.

Brian passionately believes in the transformative power of our client's work - put simply they have the power to change lives. Moreover, he is passionate that digital can and should be a positive driver in social and cultural change; giving us new ways to talk to each other and our audiences.

Before Tincan, Brian helped setup and run one of the earliest online campaign sites (McSpotlight) and he has been lucky enough to work with some of the world's leading cultural and NfP brands such as Amnesty International, ARTIST ROOMS, Friends of the Earth, Homeless Link, the ICA, Leonard Cheshire, National Theatre and Young Vic. Never short of an opinion Brian runs workshops, gives talks and pens the occassional article, especially within the arts cultural sector.

  • Jason Dean

    Lead Drupal Developer

Jason oversees the technical implementation of projects, from requirement analysis and build to user training and support. In 2007 he spotted the potential of Drupal, and he remains nerdily excited about it today. He has turned his web skills to e-commerce, manufacturing industry extranets, digital charity campaigns and arts sector ticketing systems.

Jason has an appetite for a technical challenge. He loves exceeding clients' expectations for new sites, and rescuing them from the frustrations of old or clunky ones. Whether it's attending events and contributing support, Jason likes to engage with the Drupal community and learn about shiny, new open-source solutions.

  • Ben Henshall

    Ben Henshall

UX Design & Front End Developer

Ben’s role is to support the creative process from a user Experience (UX) perspective. His experience and expertise lies in putting the user at the heart of our websites, developing front-end solutions and understanding the implications of usability. Ben enjoys that working with new technology in order to help solve real-life problems for our clients and the opportunity for creativity and innovation that this provides.

When he's not helping build websites, Ben plays and teaches samba in community groups, schools and more. We limit his caffeine intake - tea is allowed but coffee causes him to go into overdrive. Not recommended for someone who lives on a boat.
